Job Description:
Our practice is located in Arlington, VA and we offer the ideal mix of urban and suburban living and with easy access to all the amenities of downtown Washington, DC. We provide the full scope of evidence based adult primary care to patients ages 18 and above. You would have the opportunity to work with 4 Board Certified Internists, 3 advanced practitioners and a tenured support staff. We offer a great environment and a team that values and respects each other. We treat our patients and colleagues like family.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients in an outpatient setting
- Oversee, direct, and administer primary care of your panel of patients
- Prescribe and administer pharmaceutical treatments and medication
- Maintain patient electronic medical record data
- Work with Practice Administrator to direct and manage the center care team (nursing staff, medical assistants, NP's/PA's, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) Graduate
- Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Board Certification
- Active, non-probationary, unrestricted VA State License (or eligible)
- Active DEA license
- US work authorization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating in a Value-Based Healthcare Model
- Experience working in a collaborative setting to ensure positive health outcomes
- Experience in outpatient primary care settings
