Job Description:
We are currently looking for a BC Family Medicine Physician to join our primary care practice private practice in Jackson, MI.
We are a group of 8 family medicine clinicians (3 physicians and 5 APP's) that are growing and serve a diverse patient base servicing the entire family from newborns to geriatrics.
Highlights/Services Offered:
We pride ourselves on being a comprehensive medical home. If you have a sub-specialty interest, we are open to expanding our service lines (70/30 split) to accommodate your unique skills.
- Procedures: Suturing, biopsies, mole/wart removal, and joint injections.
- Women's Health: Paps and annual exams (No aesthetics).
- Chronic & Lifestyle: Heavy focus on Obesity and Lifestyle Management, alongside standard Chronic Disease Management.
- Behavioral Health: We take a "best-effort" approach to managing depression and mental health in-house due to local referral shortages, supported by internal screening protocols.
- On-site Resources: In-house ultrasound and a dedicated CCM (Chronic Care Management) Nurse to assist with your most complex patients.
- Specialist Network: We maintain exceptional relationships with local specialists, ensuring your patients get the care they need when it's beyond our walls.
- Clinical Efficiency: We utilize a collaborative support model with 9 MAs for 8 clinicians. Our MAs handle the heavy lifting-vitals, intake, social determinants of health, and vaccines-so you can focus on the patient. We have in-office coders and billers.
- Latest Technology: Open Reference, AI Scribing
- Scheduling Choice: Choose between a 4, 4.5 or 5 day work week.
- Autonomy: We value physician input. If you have a specific procedural skill or sub-specialty, we want to help you integrate it into your practice.
- Stability: In an era of high turnover, our staff longevity speaks for itself. You aren't just filling a vacancy; you're joining a community.
Potential Student Debt Forgiveness.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Comfortable managing a diverse and sometimes complex patient panel.
- Strong procedural skills (or a willingness to maintain them).
- A collaborative spirit to work within our "Pod" medical assistant model.
