Job Description:
Auburn Medical Group is currently looking for a Board Certified Family Physician Assistant to join our well-established family medicine private practice in Auburn (Sacramento), CA.
The Opportunity:
Join a technology-forward practice that has served the community for 21 years. This role is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside two board-certified physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a supportive, physician-owned environment.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a relaxed patient schedule with average volumes of 11-14 patients per day. The office is committed to balance-everyone is out the door by 5:00 PM, and there is no "after-the-day" charting.
- Innovative Technology: We utilize Epic EHR with embedded AI scribes and AI clinical decision-making tools (Open Evidence) to streamline your workflow.
- Clinical Variety: Practice full-spectrum family medicine with a heavy emphasis on an older population (70% Medicare) while maintaining skills in pediatrics (less than 5%) and procedures such as derm biopsies and wound closures.
- Academic & Leadership Roles: We welcome medical student rotations and offer leadership opportunities within local medical societies. You can even get involved with our popular YouTube channel!
Schedule & Call:
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible options available)
- Dedicated administrative time
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $70.00 per hour base pay
- Bonuses: Several bonus options are available

Qualifications:
- CA State licensure and board certification is required
- 1-2 years of primary care experience preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills with patients and staff
- Interest in fitness, lifestyle emphasis, and procedural skills (ultrasound skills are a plus)
