Services Offered

Physicians at Highland Woods Health provide a broad spectrum of care, including but not limited to:

  • Preventive care and chronic disease management
  • Allergy testing & immunotherapy
  • Skin procedures (biopsy, wart/skin tag removal)
  • Women's health: pap smears, mammography coordination
  • Sports, school, and camp physicals
  • EKG, spirometry, ultrasound, x-ray
  • Minor procedures: sutures, flexible sigmoidoscopy, vasectomy
  • Travel medicine, immunizations, behavioral health screenings

Position Details

  • Full-time outpatient role; no hospital rounds or overnight call
  • Monday-Friday schedule at either Panther Creek or Alden Bridge locations
  • Daily patient volume: ~18-22 visits-unhurried, focused sessions
  • EMR (athena)
  • Telemedicine integration backed by robust virtual infrastructure

Qualifications

  • MD or DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
  • Texas license (or eligible)
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Experience with procedures and chronic disease management preferred
  • Spanish skills valued (not required)
