Job Description:
At Integrated Medical Services (IMS), you'll find a close-knit, supportive environment-with colleagues who believe in true collaboration and a team of physician leaders driving innovation in patient care.
We are looking to add an BC Family Medicine physician to our physician-owned, multi-specialty group due to continued growth across the Valley. Whether you're seeking a role that supports work-life balance, leadership growth, or meaningful collaboration, we offer a space where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
Why Physicians (and Their Families) Love IMS
- Achieve a healthy work-life balance: Enjoy greater control over your practice with a flexible full-time schedule, including the option for a 4-day work week.
- No evening or weekend obligations: Our endocrinologists have no inpatient obligations, affording exceptional balance and predictable hours.
- Your success is in your hands: We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your long-term goals.
- Partnership opportunity: We are a physician-owned and led enterprise offering a clear opportunity for practice partnership.
- A "Newly Reborn" Culture: Join a team united by our core values of ONE (Ownership, Nobility, & Execution), where we navigate challenges together and embrace new technologies.
- Patient-centered care: Focus on providing personalized, expert care through a highly integrated model that coordinates both primary and specialty services.
- Physician-led and managed: Led by President Riyas Sumar, MD, we prioritize a culture where your contributions are recognized and your voice as a provider is heard.
- Collaborative Network: 75+ highly skilled physicians and advance practice practitioners across 9 specialties-offering seamless cross-specialty collaboration and internal referrals.
- Expansive Impact: Serving over 70,000+ unique patients across more than 23 locations in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and Northern Arizona.
Your Team + Your Choice
Join a collegial, supportive Primary Care department:
- Robust Support Staff: Medical assistants, administrative professionals, APP's and dedicated scribes to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Our Team: Our primary care department is comprised of 17 physicians, 15 nurse practitioners, and 4 physician assistants.
You'll have the freedom to shape your practice:
- Clinical Autonomy: Treat a wide range of conditions-including diabetes, thyroid issues, and obesity medicine-with the ability to tailor your practice to your specific interests.
- Prime Locations: Practice in our modern, multispecialty offices in Payson, AZ.
- Operational Ease: Focus on your patients while our administrative team handles the bureaucracy.
- Professional Development: Engage in a vision to be recognized as the premier physician-led multispecialty group in the nation.
Our Community: Payson, AZ
90 miles north of Phoenix, Payson is nestled at the base of the majestic Mogollon Rim. Payson is far more than just a gateway to the outdoors-it's a high-desert sanctuary where the air is crisp, the pines are tall, and the community spirit is as rugged as the landscape. Known as the "Center of the World" by locals (due to its central location in the state), Payson offers a refreshing escape from the desert heat at an elevation of 5,000 feet.
Why We Love It Here:
- The "Adventure Capital": Whether you're hiking the Highline Trail, fly-fishing in Christopher Creek, or exploring the Tonto Natural Bridge, your backyard is a 2.9-million-acre playground.
- Four Seasons (The Gentle Way): Enjoy the luxury of distinct seasons without the extremes. Our summers are roughly 20°F cooler than Phoenix, and our winters bring just enough snow to be beautiful without being a burden.
- Rich Heritage: Home to the world's oldest continuous rodeo, Payson holds tight to its Western roots. You'll find a culture that values self-reliance, neighborly help, and a slower pace of life.
The Lifestyle:
In Payson, the "rush hour" usually involves waiting for an elk to cross the road. Life here revolves around the outdoors and community gatherings. From the vibrant Main Street shops and local eateries to the bustling Green Valley Park-which hosts free summer concerts and fishing derbies-there is a palpable sense of belonging.
