Job Description:
The Doc Next Door | Fairfax, VA
The Doc Next Door is a highly supportive, family-owned primary care clinic seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to help anchor our brand-new Fairfax, VA location. We pride ourselves on delivering an "old school," concierge-style patient experience, offering our providers exceptional work-life balance in an incredibly warm, upbeat, and welcoming environment.
Quick Look:
- Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. No on-call, evening, or weekend requirements.
- Supportive Environment: Enjoy high clinical autonomy within a collaborative, community-focused culture. Work alongside a dedicated administrative and clinical team, and utilize cutting-edge dictation software to minimize your administrative burden.
- Location: Outpatient clinic in Fairfax, VA.
Practice Overview:
- Broad Scope of Care: Manage a diverse patient panel across the lifespan (newborns to geriatrics). We prioritize unhurried, high-quality care, allowing for flexible and extended patient visits as the incoming provider would see fit.
- Clinical Duties: Provide comprehensive outpatient primary and preventative care. Perform some routine in-office procedures including general women's health services (IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals), simple suturing, and rapid testing.
- Modern Workflows: We value the patient experience above all else. Providers have the time to develop patient relationships, and we actively work to protect against provider burnout.
