Stark Family Health Center is an established, highly supportive private primary care practice seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Canton, OH on a part-time basis. We heavily prioritize provider work-life balance and provide unparalleled clinical mentorship alongside cutting-edge AI charting technology to eliminate after-hours paperwork.

Quick Look:

  • Schedule: Part-Time (3 to 4 days/week). Standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. Absolutely no nights, weekends, or on-call obligations.
  • Supportive Environment: Work alongside an award-winning teaching physician who actively supports clinical decision-making. Benefit from ambient AI note-taking software that charts your visits automatically, and a cross-trained support team (MAs handle rooming, vitals, and all phlebotomy).
  • Locations: Outpatient clinic in Canton, OH.

Practice Overview:

  • Broad Scope of Care: Provide bread-and-butter primary care to a diverse patient demographic of all ages (newborns to geriatrics, with a high volume of young families).
  • Clinical Duties: Manage acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, depression, back pain, asthma, and allergies
  • Streamlined Workflows: Manage a comfortable volume of 20-25 patients per day. Dr. Swisher reviews and signs off on notes, ensuring you are always backed and never left to navigate complex cases alone.

Compensation & Benefits:

The hourly range for this role is $50 to $60 per hour and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Ohio license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience: 1+ years of primary care practicing experience in primary care is required.
  • Attributes: Strong bedside manner, a relationship-based approach to care, and HIPAA compliance.
