Quick Look:

• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Enjoy an outstanding work-life balance with absolutely no weekends, nights, or on-call requirements.
• Supportive Environment: Work directly alongside Dr. Salim Shelby in a highly convenient medical facility featuring an adjacent clinic, on-site lab, and surgery center. You will be supported by a dedicated team of Medical Assistants and reception staff.
• Location: Outpatient clinic in Danville, CA.

Practice Overview:

• Broad Scope of Care: Provide comprehensive adult gastroenterology care. Focus primarily on handling pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure visits to review findings with patients, with the opportunity to expand your clinical scope over time.
• Clinical Duties: Focus strictly on clinical evaluation, relationship-building, and patient education. (No procedural skills are required, as the physician handles all endoscopies and colonoscopies).
• Quality Over Quantity: Manage a highly comfortable volume of 15 to 20 patients per day. Benefit from dedicated 30-minute appointment slots for all patients, ensuring you have the time to provide exceptional, unhurried care.

Compensation & Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role starts at $180,000 in base pay and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted California license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience: Clinical practicing experience in Gastroenterology is highly preferred; however, candidates with a strong Internal Medicine background who are eager to learn and train directly under Dr. Shelby are highly encouraged to apply.
• Attributes: Strong bedside manner, a relationship-based approach to care, and HIPAA compliance.
