Practice Lead: Dr. Spektor

Hybrid Schedule: Monday & Friday in-office; Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to cover same-day gaps, virtual visits, provider bins, and hospital discharge follow-ups alongside Dr. Spektor. This role offers a high-quality-of-life, hybrid schedule (in-office M/F, remote T/W/Th) in a supportive, family-oriented practice.

Scope of Practice

• Patient Population: Adults aged 18 and up, featuring a large Medicare population alongside commercial payers (no Medicaid).
• Comprehensive Primary Care: Broad spectrum including chronic disease management, preventative health, Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs), pre-ops, and acute sick visits, with optional women's health (paps/annuals) and sub-specialty exposure to drug addiction and smoking cessation (Suboxone clinic).
• Clinical Procedures: Routine minor procedures available if desired (skin tag removal, suture/staple removal, ear lavage, minor wound care), though primarily handled by the Lead Physician.
• Volume & Call: Moderate volume of 15-20 patients per day; no clinical call (fully managed by Dr. Spektor).

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active, unrestricted MD state license and DEA registration.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in family medicine or primary care (no new graduates).
• Strong team player with a proactive, "no task is too small" mentality, high energy, and a collaborative approach.
