Job Description:
Are you a Board-Certified/Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician with a deep commitment to holistic, patient-driven care seeking a practice where you can truly know your patients and become a respected part of the local community?
An established outpatient primary care practice near Metro Atlanta is seeking a dedicated physician to step into a thriving patient panel via a long-term succession plan. This is a rare chance to inherit a loyal patient base in a relaxed, high-touch clinic model, continuing a 21-year tradition of compassionate, personalized care for the community.
Why Choose This Practice?
- Rare Succession Opportunity: Immediate opening with a clear path to practice ownership (buy-in/sell preferred) over a flexible 12- to 24-month transition period.
- Highly Patient-Focused Model: Prioritize quality over volume with a relaxed schedule and appointments tailored to patient needs. The patient-centric approach allows for a deep focus on patient education and complex chronic care.
- Excellent Work-Life Balance: 4-day work week (M-Th) for a 36-hour full-time schedule. Clinic hours are 7:45 am-5:00 pm.
- Light, phone-only call rotation with a stipend provided; no hospital or nursing home coverage required.
- Loyal & Stable Patient Panel: Inherit a loyal patient base built over 21 years, primarily adolescents and adults with a 50% geriatric population. Typical needs include ADHD, mental health, and complex chronic care.
- Holistic & Personalized Care: Practice in an environment that values a compassionate, "small town doc feel." You'll be open to patients' personal decisions, including the use of holistic, natural, and supplement-based approaches.
- Competitive Rewards: Enjoy competitive compensation and a complete benefits package
- Strong Support Staff: Work with a highly functional team including an Office Manager, 5 MAs/LPNs, and a part-time NP handling documentation and chart review.
- Minimal Procedures: Focus squarely on primary care management; current procedures are limited to I&Ds and Paps. Internal Medicine (IM) training is preferred due to the adult/geriatric focus.
