Job Description:

Hill Country Internal Medicine & Weight Loss is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing outpatient adult primary care and obesity medicine clinic in New Braunfels, Texas.

Position Highlights:

• 100% outpatient adult primary care and obesity medicine
• Evaluate and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, wellness visits, and comprehensive physicals
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with obesity and related health issues in collaboration with a physician board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine
• Provide patient education and counseling on weight management, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and medication-based treatment
• Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
• Strong clinical and administrative support, including dedicated 1:1 MA
• Full-time daytime schedule; one Saturday morning per month (8 AM-12 PM), with a weekday off of your choice the following week

Qualifications:

• Certified Physician Assistant or board-certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active Texas license and DEA, or eligibility to obtain
• Experience in Internal Medicine or Obesity Medicine preferred but not required
