About RSVP Obstetrics and Gynecology
RSVP Obstetrics and Gynecology represents the successful merger of two premier Walnut Creek traditions: RSVP OB/GYN and the practice of Dr. Stephen Wells. By combining our expertise, we have created a dynamic, patient-centric environment dedicated to providing the highest standard of women's healthcare in the East Bay. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care with a balanced clinical mix of approximately 50% Obstetrics and 50% Gynecology.
- Perform a wide range of in-office procedures, including colposcopies, LEEPs, IUD insertions, endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopies, and endometrial ablations.
- Conduct major gynecological surgeries in the hospital setting, including a high volume of robotic cases.
- Participate in a favorable call rotation: Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) cover primary call on a 1:6 basis, with physicians providing backup for operative deliveries on a 1:5 rotation.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with practice and regulatory standards.
- Work a full-time schedule: 4 days patient-facing and 1 day administrative.
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible (if within two years of residency) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Active California medical license or the ability to obtain one.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to clinical excellence.
- New graduates are highly encouraged to apply! Mentorship is a core passion of our practice, and our team is eager to assist new physicians in becoming robotic-certified if interested.

Colorado, New York, New Jersey, California, Connecticut and Washington Residents Only: The salary for this role is $400,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
