Job Description:
We are currently looking for a BC Pediatrician to join our outpatient pediatric practice in Washington, D.C. We are opening a second office on the campus of Walter Reed (The Parks at Walter Reed), a new community with mixed use commercial and residential properties. Our original office is near Washington Hospital Center.
- Outstanding opportunity to become a part of our growing practice and work alongside a highly regarded pediatrician and tenured support staff
- Our practice offers the full scope of primary care services to pediatric patients from birth to 21 with many newborns and younger children
- Full-time and part-time schedules can be accommodated, offering a great deal of flexibility, and no evenings or weekends required, no inpatient or newborn rounding
- Very close-working staff in the office, group-oriented and values teamwork, very friendly, light-hearted environment
- Patient volume: 15-20 pts/day, our focus is on quality care and the relationship with the families
- Bread and butter primary care pediatrics with light procedures: foreign body removal, suturing, I&Ds
- Schedule: Full-time, open to 4-5 days/week, has a lot of flexibility with schedule
- Hours (Clinical/Admin): Mon-Fri, currently open 7:00am - 5:00pm
- First patient at 7am, last patient at 4:45pm.
Qualifications:
- BE/BC in Pediatrics
- Must love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
- State licensure; board certification is required within the year
