Job Description:
Type: Part-Time
Location: Arlington, VA
Schedule: 3 Days per Week (Mon, Tues, Fri Preferred; but flexible to alternative schedules)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Pediatrician to join a patient-centered, high-quality Pediatrics practice. This role offers a unique balance of traditional pediatrics and specialized adolescent care, serving patients from birth through age 21.
Qualifications:
- Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school of medicine.
- Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 2 years of completion of Residency
- Experience: New graduates and experienced physicians are equally encouraged to apply.
- Licensure: Active VA State Medical License and DEA (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Language: Spanish proficiency is a plus, though not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Pediatric Primary Care: Manage a broad pediatric scope (ages 0-21), including well-child exams, sick visits, obesity, asthma and ADHD care.
- Diagnostic Oversight: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging, to develop effective treatment plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely Electronic Health Records (EHR) to ensure clinical excellence and continuity of care.
