Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Family Medicine team. This role aims to ensure seamless continuity of care and support for the Practice, while offering exceptional scheduling flexibility for the ideal candidate.
Scope of Practice
- Patient Population: Primarily adults (ages 16+) with a significant, well-established Medicare panel.
- Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) or Part-Time (Tuesday/Thursday)
- Comprehensive Primary Care: Provide a full spectrum of outpatient care, including routine annual exams, acute sick visits, and proactive management of chronic conditions.
- Clinical Workflow: Structured for thorough care with 20 minutes allotted for routine follow-ups and 40 minutes dedicated to physicals and expanded examinations. APPs will primarily focus on managing Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs) for patients aged 65+ with room for broader diagnostic involvement over time.
- Volume & Call: Maintain an efficient pace of 15-18 patients per day (targeting 18-20 over time). Light, shared rotation call with a neighboring office occurs only 1 weekend per month (~2-3 times per year), with day-to-day clinical call managed by the Lead Physician.
Qualifications
- Board Certified NP or PA.
- Experienced providers preferred, but open to highly motivated new graduates who demonstrate exceptional clinical chart efficiency.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Texas.
- A proactive, "no task is too small" team mentality with a focus on meticulous, timely medical documentation.
