Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in San Antonio, TX!
San Antonio Family Physicians, a thriving primary care practice with recent growth due to WellMed affiliation, is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician. We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated physician to join our established team in San Antonio, TX.
About Our Practice:
Join a collaborative environment with a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician, four Nurse Practitioners, and a highly tenured support staff. We offer comprehensive primary care services including in-office labs, allergy testing, and cardiovascular/pulmonary testing for a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full-spectrum primary care to patients across all ages: 20% Medicare (WellMed), 5% pediatric/adolescent, adults 30-65.
- Manage common pathologies in a primary care setting.
- Collaborate with our supportive team to deliver top-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine (FM preferred, peds experience helpful).
- New graduates are welcome; some experience is preferred.
- Easygoing, committed to work, and patient care.
- Spanish speaking skills are helpful, but not mandatory.
Schedule:
- Patient Volume: Average 18-23 patients per provider per day.
- Appointment Times: 10, 20, or 30-minute slots.
- Clinical Hours:Monday-Thursday: 8 AM - 7 PM
- Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM
- One late night (10 AM - 7 PM) per provider.
- One Saturday per month (9 AM - 2 PM).
- One virtual day per week.
- Call: Rotates among providers, one week at a time via "Call My Doc."
- Flexible full-time or part-time schedules can be accommodated.
