Primary Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Location: Purcellville, VA
Our established primary care practice in Purcellville, VA, is seeking a dedicated Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). This role involves providing comprehensive care, combining traditional Primary Care services, specialized Women's Health focus, and management of our busy Acute Care walk-in clinic. We welcome applications from new graduates with excellent academic records.
Schedule
We are considering both Full-Time and Part-Time candidates.
Part-Time Fixed Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Alternate Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of patient care duties, including:
- Comprehensive Primary Care: Conducting health assessments, physical examinations, and managing both acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.
- Acute Care: Providing diagnosis and treatment for walk-in patients with urgent health issues and minor traumas.
- Women's Health: Offering routine well-woman examinations, screenings (e.g., Pap smears), and counseling.
- Diagnostic Management: Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
- Treatment Planning: Developing and implementing effective treatment plans, including prescription management and patient education.
- Efficiency: Utilizing AI scribing technology to ensure efficient and accurate medical documentation, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Must be a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Experience: New Graduates are encouraged to apply; must possess current or eligible PA licensure in Virginia.
- Academics: Required GPA of 3.6 or higher from an accredited program.
- Attributes: Demonstrated ability to be hardworking and maintain a consistently positive attitude.
