Job Description:
We are currently looking for a BC/BE Pulmonologist to join our multi-specialty practice in Thomasville, Georgia.
- McIntosh Clinic, P.C. is a physician-owned, multi-specialty practice that has been serving the communities of Southern Georgia for over 30 years providing Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Dermatology, and Pathology services.
- Our 13 board certified physicians, experienced advanced practitioners, and staff can offer mentorship and support for newly practicing and/or experienced physicians.
- Our clinic operates out of a 25,000 sq. ft. facility, equipped with a fully functioning lab, Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) lab, radiology department, and infusion suite.
- You will have the ability to offer the full scope of pulmonology services and have access to three exam rooms and a personal office space. Each physician is supported by a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and a personal receptionist.
- Full-time schedule including 4.5 days/week and no call obligation, allowing for great work-life balance.
Position Overview:
- The focus will be on outpatient pulmonary services and sleep medicine, with no inpatient consults required.
- If the physician wishes to round and consult in the ICU, they will be included in the inpatient call schedule.
- Hospital privileges at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital are available but not required for this role.
- The incoming physician will be supported by a well-established and highly skilled team, including the 13 primary care physicians who refer patients to pulmonology.
Work Schedule and Call Requirements:
- The typical workweek will focus on outpatient pulmonary services and sleep medicine, with flexibility to offer a full-spectrum pulmonology practice.
- There is no call required for outpatient services. However, if inpatient rounding and ICU consultations are desired, the physician will join the inpatient call schedule.
Compensation & Benefits:
- The guaranteed salary for this position is $350,000, with the potential for a higher starting salary for a physician who practices a combination of pulmonary medicine and critical care.
- The practice offers a 1-2 year guarantee with a partnership track after the first or second year, including a $10,000 buy-in.

Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care.
- Excellent bedside manner and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are essential qualities for the ideal candidate.
- The practice is willing to consider new graduates.
