Job Description:
We are seeking a Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician to join our group of well-trained Pulmonary Critical Care specialists who manage the ICU service at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA.
- This is an opportunity to join a well respected multi-specialty group composed of more than 25 physicians and 6 physician assistants across various specialties, including internal medicine, allergy, pulmonology, sleep medicine, sports medicine and urgent care
- Work alongside 12 BC Pulmonologists/Critical Care physicians who provide outpatient pulmonology services, inpatient hospital consults and manage the Critical Care service at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA
- Schedule: Office schedule is 4.5 days M-F; ICU shifts are shared amongst the team for a hybrid model of care
- Virginia Hospital Center is a 453 bed teaching hospital for local medical students and residents
- Our ICU is licensed for 28 beds average with a census is 18-22 patients. It is a mixed surgical ICU (neurosurgery, CCU and trauma)
