Rheumatologist - Rockville, MD (Washington, D.C. Metro Area)

We are seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join a physician-owned, multispecialty private practice in Rockville, MD, offering the opportunity tolead a new rheumatology service line within an established clinical infrastructure.

The practice currently includes neurology, pain management, and physical therapy services with an in-house infusion center already in operation. Rheumatology is the next strategic addition to support growing patient demand and complement existing infusion services.

Position Highlights

  • Strong internal referral base from neurology and pain management, with additional community demand
  • In-house infusion center with full-time RN and dedicated support staff
  • Access to ultrasound and procedure room for joint injections and advanced procedures
  • Dedicated clinic space including exam rooms, infusion chairs, and private office
  • Full clinical autonomy to shape workflows and care delivery
  • Robust administrative support handling prior authorizations and care coordination
  • 1:1 MA support plus additional clinical and administrative infrastructure

Schedule & Call

  • 100% outpatient, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • Flexible scheduling, typically structured as a 4.5-5 day work week
  • Minimal practice call only, shared among providers, with minimal phone calls due to nurse triage line
  • No hospital or after-hours clinical responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • BC/BE in Rheumatology
  • Active Maryland license (or eligibility to obtain)
