Part-Time Virtual Registered Dietitian

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care within Privia's Virtual Nutrition and Diabetes Program.
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
- Deliver clinical nutrition guidance, including assessment, intervention, and monitoring, for a diverse patient population.
- Support efforts in developing and refining clinical protocols and virtual nutrition care guidelines in collaboration with Privia's leadership and lead dietitian advisor.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Dietitian (RD) licensure in any of the following states: Texas (TX), Virginia (VA), District of Columbia (DC), Maryland (MD), Georgia (GA), or Florida (FL).
- Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate experience working 1:1 with patients, providing clinical nutrition guidance in either an outpatient or virtual setting.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based nutrition principles and their application in various health conditions, particularly diabetes.
- Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative virtual team.
Comp & Benefits:
Type: 1099 Contracted Position
Hours: 5-10 hours per week, flexible on evening or weekend hours.
Compensation: Competitive supplemental compensation.
Benefits: Flexible working hours.
Note: Providers will be required to carry their own malpractice insurance.
