Practice Lead: Dr. Wong

Schedule: Full-Time preferred (4 or 5 days/week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM) or Part-Time options available

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our growing Family Medicine team. In this role, you will work closely alongside our Practice Lead, Dr. Wong, to provide high-quality care, manage physician overflow, and ensure seamless continuity of care for our expanding adult patient population.

Scope of Practice:

• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric outpatient care, serving patients ages 18 to geriatric.
• Comprehensive Primary Care: Routine chronic disease management, behavioral health, acute women's health concerns, hospital discharges, sick visits, and lab result reviews.
• Clinical Workflow: Balanced 30-minute appointment slots utilizing AthenaHealth EMR with standardized templates and AI scribe support.
• Volume & Call: Target volume of 10-14 patients per day; clinical call is managed by the Lead Physician, with minimal coverage required only during physician vacation periods.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
• Welcoming both experienced Physician Assistants and motivated new graduates seeking a supportive, teaching-oriented environment.
• Active, unrestricted PA license and prescriptive authority in Maryland.
