Location: Rockville, MD 20854

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (Includes 1-hour lunch block; half-day admin time after 3 months)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Adult Primary Care team at Rockville Internal Medicine. In this role, you will work alongside our experienced internists and support staff to provide comprehensive, continuous care to adult patients, assisting our Practice Lead in maintaining high clinical standards and strong patient panel continuity.

Scope of Practice

• Patient Population: Adult primary care and urgent care for established RIMG patients.
• Comprehensive Primary Care: Full spectrum of adult health care, including acute illness management, chronic disease management, and preventative screenings.
• Clinical Workflow: Structured appointment slots designed for thorough patient care-15-minute follow-ups, 30-minute new patient visits or Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs), and 45-minute annual physicals with pap smears.
• Volume & Call: 16-20 patients per day. Clinical call is light and managed alongside the physician team (1 weekday call per month; no weekends or holidays).

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Minimum of 3 years of primary care or urgent care NP experience preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Maryland (with Maryland CDS and DEA registrations).
