Job Description:

Our long established family medicine practice in Columbia, SC is seeking a skilled and compassionate additional Family Medicine Physician to join our team. Our practice takes great pride in delivering high-quality primary care services by creating access and services for our community of patients.

Scope of Practice:

• Patient Population/Demographics: Serving a broad community ranging from pediatric patients (as young as 6 months) through adolescents, young families, and older adults, including a robust Medicare population.
• Common Pathologies/Conditions: Management of acute illnesses, routine preventive care, chronic disease management, wound care, and general family medicine concerns.
• Procedures: In-office minor procedures as appropriate under local anesthesia (e.g., incision and drainage, skin biopsies, sutures). On-site support includes a full phlebotomist, in-house lab testing, and convenient access to imaging services.
• We Welcome Additional Services: If you bring a skillset yet to be offered, we will embrace it in our complement of services.
• Schedule: 4.5 day work week, no weekends

Qualifications:

• Certification: Board Certification in Family Medicine
• Experience: Open to both experienced providers and promising new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds; training and support are available.
• Licensure: Active or eligible for a South Carolina state medical license and DEA registration.
