Primary Care Physician

Potomac Wellness Medical Center is a dynamic and growing private practice in Rockville, MD, dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based care. We believe in a holistic approach to patient well-being, fostering strong patient-physician relationships in a supportive environment.

Position Details

• Location: Rockville, MD
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Status: Part-time (3 days per week) or Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for sick and well visits.
• Provide gynecologic care within the scope of primary care.
• Develop and manage treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Emphasize preventive care and health maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. (If Board Eligible, must be within 2 years of residency).
• Active Maryland medical license or willingness to obtain one.
• Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in an outpatient primary care setting is preferred.
• Experience or interest in Obesity Medicine is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary of $225,000 to $240,000, commensurate with experience.
