Job Description:

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP)

Location: Rockville, Maryland

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm

• Contract: 1099 Independent Contractor

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including sick and well visits.
• Provide gynecologic care within the scope of primary care services.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Emphasize preventive care and health maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year post graduate experience in a primary care setting
• Certification: Active board certification as an FNP or AGNP.
• Licensure: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland.
• Skills: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to patient-centered care.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $60 - $70, commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: As a 1099 contractor, traditional benefits are not provided; however, malpractice coverage is included.
