Alexandria Medical Associates is a well-established & physician-owned primary care practice seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team. Quick Look:

• Schedule: Part-Time (3-4 days/week). Clinic hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Open to occasional Saturday shifts, light call obligation.
• Supportive Environment: Work collaboratively alongside an award-winning Board-Certified Primary Care Physician, an Endocrinologist, 3 Advanced Practice Providers, and a highly tenured support staff featuring a dedicated 1:1 Medical Assistant-to-provider ratio.
• Location: Outpatient clinic in Alexandria, VA.

Practice Overview:

• Broad Scope of Care: Manage a diverse adult and geriatric patient panel, seeing a comfortable volume of patients per day in flexible appointment lengths, to ensure unhurried, high-quality care.
• Clinical Duties: Provide comprehensive outpatient primary and preventative care. Exciting opportunities exist to incorporate and learn specialized services such as allergy testing and point-of-care ultrasounds (abdomen/thyroid).
• Modern Workflows: Progressive practice model that utilizes telehealth for all sick visits, diet/supplement consultations, and lab result discussions, keeping the in-office environment focused on wellness and routine care.
• Compensation & Benefits: Offering a competitive hourly rate and additional benefits package with potential bonus opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Virginia license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience: 1+ years of practicing experience in primary care or urgent care required.
• Attributes: Strong bedside manner, a relationship-based approach to care, and HIPAA compliance.
